Personal Summary

Shally Srivastava is a senior, graceful and versatile professional Odissi dancer from Bihar presently settled in Delhi. She is a dedicated, disciplined, and devoted dancer who expresses her spontaneity of emotions with absolute ease, grace and perfection. She is an All India Radio Graded artist. She possesses a sense of rhythm, a feel for music, and a creative ability to express them through movements. She is friendly, amiable and possesses a team spirit to work with other artists and performers. Coming from an Army and medical background, she has an experience of rich and diverse Indian culture. An avid and keen learner, she is always looking to learn more. Shally Srivastava has given several solos and group performances. Initiated to dance at a very young age her dancing ability matured under the guidance of Tamal Patra, Geetanjali Acharya, Guru Sharon Lowen and Guru Jyoti Shrivastava. She has the credit of performing in many major festivals all over India. Now, she has joined as a mentor for Odissi dance at Virasat Ensemble, New Delhi. She also teaches in many institutions and imparts training to young and promising dancers. She has a keen desire to explore the Odissi dance. She is a recipient of many prestigious awards like-
