Virasat Ensemble – GurukulOf Performing Arts is offering certificate/diploma courses in Odissi Dance and MayurbhanjChhau. Anyone above the age of 7 can apply for the courses. Students from any stream of art can apply. Courses will be online or offline depending on the government guidelines. Certificate courses will be of 3 years and Diploma of 6 years. We at Virasat Ensemble are confident that eh benefits derived from this courses will further enrich your development as a practitioner of classical and folk dance
COURSES
- Age limit minimum7+, maximum open for all age groups
- Dancers should be able to attend uninterrupted virtual sessions.
- Dancers are required to attend the workshops, lec-dem organized by the Gurukul.
- The video should include a small introduction about the student themselves
- 100℅ enthusiasm and participations are required in various festivals conducted by Gurukul Or from various organizations.
- Participants are requested to shoot their 2 mins video
Scholarships will be provided on need or merit basis.

Participation in workshops and festivals conducted by eminent personalities will also be a part of your syllabus. Participants will receive certificates for the same. There are also plans to introduce Kalaripattu later in the syllabus or as a workshop. Virasat Ensemble also plans to launch its very first festival “Darpani”, showcasing the various form of Odissi and Chhau (Mayurbhanj, Saraikela, Puruliya) in the month of November 2021.
